publication traces a progression of the artist’s concerns from
his earliest works to his more recent monochrome silhouette paintings
that draw attention to the absence, rather than the presence of an object.
The book resides somewhere between a scrapbook and more formal anthology, juxtaposing text works with paintings, and 3D pictures with photocopied images. An essay by Stephen Bury gives an insight into the artist’s motivations and concerns.
