BOARD RECRUITMENT FOR MATT'S GALLERY

Over the past 30 years, Matt’s Gallery has played a seminal role in encouraging growth and excellence in the contemporary visual arts sector and has been crucial in the development of the thriving artistic community in London that we know today. It has established and maintained a vital and distinctive collaborative approach to working with artists, acting as an essential thinking space away from the pressures of the commercial environment. Its support of artists to take risks, coupled with an ambitious programme, remains as relevant and central to the Gallery's ethos today as it did at its outset.

To support Matt's Gallery in meeting its charitable objectives and realising its future ambitions, we are now seeking to expand our Board. We are looking for new members who are proactive and have knowledge and professional expertise in the areas of fundraising and finance, property and regeneration. Candidates should be able to commit their time and enthusiasm, and be an ambassador for the gallery.

This is an unpaid position. Board members attend meetings throughout the year in addition to an Annual General Meeting and participate in, and contribute to, small working groups.
