Matt’s Gallery is seeking a Digital Projects Assistant to join its team on a fixed-term, part-time basis.

Matt’s Gallery is a contemporary non-profit art gallery, established 42 years ago in East London. During its time, Matt’s Gallery has been an independent and influential force in the visual arts sector, both nationally and internationally, championing the careers of artists such as Willie Doherty, Benedict Drew, Jimmie Durham, Susan Hiller, Mike Nelson, Nathaniel Mellors, Lindsay Seers, Tai Shani and Imogen Stidworthy. In March 2022, the gallery will open its new space in Nine Elms, South West London.

In April 2020 the Gallery launched MattFlix, its online platform, in response to the national lockdown in England. Works shown to date have been predominantly video-based, but not always. They are online for a month, then archived on the MattFlix website. The project has continued and developed and in 2022 it will present a series of newly commissioned works, created for the platform. The project will be given a new home when Matt’s Gallery relaunches its website in 2022.

Matt’s Gallery is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation and a registered charity.
