Jordan Baseman

Jordan Baseman will create a new moving image work inspired by The Box’s South West Film and Television Archive.The project explores universal human emotions and their expression over time, reflecting on how feeling and experience are captured and interpreted through film, performance, and everyday life.

The commissioned work will launch in June 2026 and be displayed in the Media Lab gallery, presented alongside The Box’s summer 2026 exhibition programme.

Reimagining the Film Archive (RtFA) is a three-year programme (2023–2026) made possible with thanks to the National Lottery and the BFI Screen Heritage Fund.
